Takuani Kal is a tranquil retreat tucked away just north of La Libertad among some of the best surfing in El Salvador. Owner Walter Reiger, a true artist at heart, has handcrafted every inch of the property. Every stone, mosiac, and sculpture has found a perfect home among the tropical landscape. The infinity pool is surrounded by fish ponds and water cascades with a spectacular view of the ocean. As of January '07, Walter was busy completing, "The Grotto Bar," and, "The Temascal"
(a Mayan sauna).

Walter can arrange several tours through his connections with third party tour operators to the mountains, crater lakes, coffee plantations, and cloud forests.
He can also arrange off-road motorcycle excursions, fishing trips, and horseback riding.
